Original text from the Ars Goetia:
The Thirty-sixth Spirit is Stolas, or Stolos. He is a Great and Powerful Prince, appearing in the Shape of a Mighty Raven at first before the Exorcist; but after he taketh the image of a Man. He teacheth the Art of Astronomy, and the Virtues of Herbs and Precious Stones. He governeth 26 Legions of Spirits; and his Seal is this, which is, etc

Stolas teaches the ancient art of astronomy and herbalism. He inspires the magician the instinct of wort cunning, the art of the wise. Stolas governs 26 Legions of Spirits, who also teaches Astronomy. When one summons Stolas this spirit often appears in the black mirror as a Raven, which interestingly enough symbolizes Hidden Wisdom and the Darker Realms, thus one assumed as a God Form by invocation, allows a very interesting prose into the concepts of Astronomy and spiritual impulses of that particular Spirit.

Stolas is another “teacher” daemon. Invoke him to learn witchcraft or sciences of the natural world (i.e. biology, botany, geology, etc). Wear an amulet of his sigil (can be made of either clay or wood as well as tin) while learning of these things and you will retain more information and attune yourself with the natural world.

Once again, he is a demon geared more towards those with a nature-based likening, and would help not only in the learning steps of herbalism and natural sciences, but for keeping information learned and close-by. Stolas also goes by Stolos and belongs to no other demonic hierarchies.

D'awwwww lookit the birdie with the silly wittle feetsies. He’s so CUTE GOSH. Like, saying that about a Prince of demons is probably dangerous or something, but gosh. In terms of being useful, he is 100 percent another witchy demon. Great for the outdoorsy types, and personally, I think he’d be especially great for writing down and keeping info close, as he helps you gather more info. Definitely a handy demon!
