Goetics as in the people who practice the arts of the goetia?  Or Goetics as in the demons themselves?

Either way, UPG ahead (so all those not kosher with UPG, stop reading and move along).

I’m a brazen spirit so in general “fuck. off.” is my first step with any spirit or human of any kind. Butttttttttt since that only works pending your authority with the spirit in question, here’s some other tips:

If referring to the demons, princes of hell, and other spirits of the goetic arts: Goetic spirits work through deals. Summoning is generally done under the pretense that you will owe the spirit something after you have conjured them up.

Some are consistent (for example: Paimon who is generally a teacher of wisdom and crytpic shenanigans like how to be a beautiful gender mind-fuck—will generally ask for knowledge in return.) If you’ve summoned them (or I suppose if you’re bothered by the conjurings of another), fulfill that deal. Few spirits of the Goetia will work with no repayment. It’s unfair really, to conjure their will into existence without fulfilling something of theirs.

Now, naturally some of the spirits require a fulfillment that’s not really practical (oh I dont know, your first born, or the feet of three kings…small favors)—strike a bargain. Unless you’re dealing with the uber powerful ones—you should be able to work out a deal with them for a practical payment. Use logic, be just, and be steadfast. If you look weak willed—then they’ll treat you as such.

If bargaining does not work, I suppose you could summon one of the princes of hell in charge of the legion that the spirit comes from. (This requires some knowledge of the goetia to begin with, as well as preferably an established relationship). Charge them with reigning in their kin. Remember, you will owe them something for that too. Keep that deal clean and follow through—and you should be left alone after that.

Again—I don’t know the circumstances for which you want said goetic to fuck off—circumstances can change the methods entirely.

If you were referring to people who practice the arts: I don’t know. I can’t help you there—assert who you are and that you do not (and do not wish to) work with the goetia. (This applies to spirits bothering you about it too). Contrary to appearances, the goetic spirits function on fair logic: They’re not interested in investing time in someone who’s not interested in investing in them.

I hope I answered your question??

as a friendly note from your local demonolator, there are also published ways to make a demon shoo.

first and foremost, if it’s a demon you called upon and you want it gone, the lesser key dictates you use “the license to depart”. that is basically telling the demon to leave and not cause any trouble on the way back. this is the most effective way to make something leave politely.

if we’re being impolite here, then we have two methods. the first is assuming the demon was summoned, the second is if a demon enters a space without reason. for the first, the spirits chain, also called the general curse within the lesser key, is a great tool. I don’t usually use this to make a demon leave, I use it to make a demon listen. whether you’re summoning or not, sometimes they just like to be assholes. this is usually enough to quiet them down, and then you can do as you please. another good method for the uninvited demon is to use the first pentacle of saturn from the greater key. it causes all spirits to obey, and you can basically use that to trap an entity and tell it to go home and get lost.

there are a bunch of other methods, but those are all some of the more effective methods I use!

Solid advice anyway. I’ve found that a lot of the goetia spirits don’t care about humans enough to bother with...

It’d help to know why the demon was hanging around in the first place as well, if they’re summoned with the whole nine...
